What you will do

• Conduct daily inspections of data center infrastructure and equipment.
• Install and maintain servers, storage, network hardware, and cabling.
• Perform hardware diagnostics and replace failing components like RAM, PSUs, and hard drives.
• Manage inventory, labeling, and decommissioned hardware removal.
• Coordinate with data center staff and oversee contractors in hirify.global-managed spaces.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.

Requirements

• Must be based in Breinigsville, PA.
• 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician or in a similar role.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Ethernet network topology.
• Ability to lift equipment up to and over 50lbs.
• Proficiency in shipping logistics and hardware configuration.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ubuntu/Debian Linux.
• Familiarity with Dell systems (iDrac, TechDirect) and Cisco/Mellanox/Nvidia switches.
• CompTIA Linux+ or Network+ certifications.
• Military training or relevant technical certifications.
