What you will do

• Set up, configure, and deploy physical server hardware according to customer specifications.
• Install and manage various operating systems, including Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian.
• Handle technical service requests via ticketing systems with a focus on speed, accuracy, and documentation.
• Execute infrastructure tasks including cable routing, component replacement, and diagnostic testing.
• Maintain system inventory and keep the data center organized and compliant with safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support hardware and system requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with computer hardware, server builds, and installations.
• Proficiency in installing and configuring Windows Server, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian.
• Experience with data center workflows, specifically racking equipment and managing cabling.
• Familiarity with SuperMicro hardware and related components.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for both onsite and remote scenarios.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Buffalo, NY.
