Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Cary, NC, USA (Hybrid: 1-2 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Respond to customer product inquiries via telephone and email.
• Resolve complex technical concerns related to installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot hardware equipment and software application issues.
• Recommend corrective actions and document recurring technical problems.
• Collaborate with software and hardware engineering teams to diagnose and communicate issues.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Cary, NC, USA.
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in networking, including protocols like BGP, OSPF, and IPv4/IPv6.
• Master's degree in a technical field (CS/EE/ITP).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with troubleshooting tools like IXIA, tcpdump, and Wireshark.
• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, C++, Java, etc.).
• Prior TAC experience.
• Relevant industry certifications.
