What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of software engineers and technical leads.
• Drive software delivery from planning through production support using Agile and DevOps practices.
• Modernize legacy applications and integration patterns using API-first design.
• Implement AI and intelligent automation opportunities to improve business outcomes.
• Partner with product, architecture, and security teams to align on technology roadmaps.
• Ensure system reliability, observability, and operational readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or systems integration.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; GM does not provide immigration sponsorship.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, production-grade systems.
• Experience leading teams to deploy or migrate custom applications to Azure.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, C#, TypeScript, or React.
• Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Background in supporting enterprise HR or Finance platforms.
