What you will do
- Design research and evaluation plans for Market Transformation Initiatives (MTIs) to support planning and investment decisions.
- Lead cross-functional teams to align research activities with initiative goals.
- Manage third-party contractors commissioned for primary market research and MTI evaluations.
- Provide technical expertise and quality management for analysis and reporting activities.
- Oversee primary and secondary data collection and conduct detailed data analysis.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and lead proposal development for clients.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in market research or evaluation.
- At least 5 years of experience with Demand-Side Management (DSM), Energy Efficiency, or Utility programs.
- Bachelorβs degree in Social and Environmental Sciences, Public Policy, or Economics (Master's preferred).
- Experience leading quantitative and qualitative analysis and designing research instruments.
- Working knowledge of statistics and sampling, and competency with data analysis software.
- Must be based in the US; California residency or experience is highly preferred.
