Agile Coach (DevSecOps)

What you will do

• Lead Agile transformation across multiple teams and programs supporting a large federal agency.
• Coach executives, managers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and team members on Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
• Facilitate workshops, sprint planning, cross-team planning, backlog refinement, PI Planning, and Agile communities of practice.
• Support the launch of Agile Release Trains, continuous delivery pipelines, Lean Portfolio practices, and DevOps culture.
• Establish team boards, workflow automation, reporting, Agile artifacts, methodology documentation, and maturity assessments.
• Track Agile metrics, identify delivery risks, and recommend improvements to processes, policies, training, and tooling.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of practical Agile experience and demonstrated Agile coaching experience.
• Strong understanding of SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, Product Ownership, and Agile scaling.
• Experience acting as an organizational change agent across multiple teams and helping leadership remove transformation barriers.
• Experience launching Agile Release Trains, supporting PI Planning, coordinating multiple ARTs, and building continuous delivery pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and techniques, including modern IDEs, GitHub, containerization, everything as code, and zero-trust.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive projects.

Nice to have

• Master’s or other advanced degree in an Information Technology-related field.
• SAFe, Scrum Alliance, ICAgile, or equivalent expert, senior, or coaching certifications.
• Secure coding, open-source tools management, SEI-CMMI, NIST, or PMP-related training and experience.
