TL;DR
Scrum Leader (Embedded): Facilitating agile execution and supporting the delivery of value across Engine Controls with an accent on team coaching, process improvement, and technical integrity. Focus on eliminating impediments, managing Kanban workflows, and promoting disciplined engineering practices like BDD and TDD.
Location: Hybrid: Must report to Milford, Michigan at least three times per week

What you will do
- Facilitate agile ceremonies including iteration planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with Scrum Managers and Product Owners to align team objectives with ART-level goals.
- Manage the team's Kanban board to visualize and optimize workflow and reduce defects.
- Mentor team members through career coaching and guide the writing of well-formed user stories.
- Promote disciplined engineering practices such as BDD, TDD, and continuous integration.
- Identify and resolve systemic impediments by coordinating with cross-functional partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, CS, Math, or Physics.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proven ability to coach teams in Agile principles and facilitate complex software delivery.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
- Strong analytical skills for solving unusual and difficult technical problems.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- 8+ years of experience in Engine or Transmission Controls software development.
- SAFe training or certifications and DFSS Black Belt certification.
- Experience with MIL, SIL, and HIL testing.
