What you will do

• Independently execute statistical aspects of projects to meet client expectations.
• Develop statistical analysis plans, conduct analyses, and generate detailed reports.
• Create and maintain R packages and R Shiny applications using Git and BitBucket to standardize statistical routines.
• Provide one-on-one mentorship and training to junior statisticians and co-ops.
• Lead discussions on statistical methods and present results to internal teams and clients.
• Oversee and implement quality control activities and develop novel statistical analysis code.

Requirements

• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Health Economics or a related field.
• 1-3 years of direct experience in health research, health technology assessment, or market access.
• Strong knowledge of meta-analysis, indirect comparisons, regression modeling, and survival analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical programming with R, WinBUGS/OpenBUGS, SAS, and/or STATA.
• Experience analyzing patient-level data from clinical trials or real-world observational data.
• Location: Must be based in Toronto, ON, Canada

Nice to have

• Proficiency in reproducible workflows using Git, AWS S3, Rmarkdown, and RStudio Connect.
• Knowledge of Bayesian modeling, MCMC sampling, and software like Stan or Jags.
• Experience with computer programming software such as VBA.
