What you will do
- Design and execute research plans focused on cell division, tissue architecture, and cancer predisposition.
- Perform data analysis and contribute to the writing of manuscripts and grant applications.
- Utilize human primary mammary epithelial cell systems and genetically engineered mouse models.
- Apply advanced microscopy and live-cell imaging techniques to study tumor evolution.
- Mentor junior trainees within the laboratory environment.
- Present research findings at internal and external scientific meetings.
Requirements
- PhD in Cell Biology, Cancer Biology, Developmental Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Proven record of first-author publications in high-impact journals.
- Expertise in mammary epithelial biology, organoid systems, mitosis, or DNA damage responses.
- Experience with live-cell imaging, mouse models, or molecular perturbation techniques like CRISPR/RNAi.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the research environment.
Nice to have
- Background in mitotic regulators such as BRCA1, HMMR, or PLK1.
- Experience with quantitative or systems biology approaches including proteomics or genomics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead research projects independently.
