Plant Work Technician (Agriculture)

Salary: $25.75 / hour

What you will do

• Execute planting, pruning, trellising, defoliation, and harvesting in grow rooms.
• Perform sanitation of grow and trim rooms between production lots.
• Inspect plants for pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain detailed records of plant growth, environment, and applied treatments.
• Manage irrigation systems and support propagation activities, including cloning and transplanting.
• Trim and manicure flowers for packaging according to industry quality and consistency standards.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or be able to work in Pemberton, BC
• Strong physical ability, including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and after hours as required.
• Must undergo a medical screening exam as part of the recruitment process for GMP certified plants.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Previous experience in an agricultural or horticultural setting.
