TL;DR

Business Development Representative (Cybersecurity): Generating new sales opportunities and qualifying leads in the cloud security market with an accent on prospecting and lead qualification. Focus on building a robust pipeline, managing CRM data in Salesforce, and collaborating with Account Executives to drive revenue growth.

Location: Remote (USA). Must have the legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Salary: $62,300 — $76,300 USD (Base Pay)

What you will do

  • Identify and research potential leads through cold calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Conduct discovery calls to qualify prospects based on their interest in cloud security solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads for the sales team.
  • Coordinate with Account Executives to ensure smooth lead handoffs and aligned strategies.
  • Manage prospect data and track outreach activities within Salesforce.
  • Take full ownership of the sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed KPIs.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a business development or sales role.
  • Must have the legal right to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship is provided.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for technology, specifically cloud security and cybersecurity solutions.

Nice to have

  • Experience in Cloud or Security sales.
  • Understanding of sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
