Business Development Representative (BDR) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote within the United States; applicants must currently reside in the Greater Chicago area.

What you will do

• Generate leads, nurture prospects, and identify new sales opportunities.
• Build and maintain a qualified pipeline while prioritizing inbound leads.
• Research target accounts, industries, and cybersecurity challenges.
• Collaborate with sales to execute account-based sales strategies.
• Track leads, opportunities, and activities in CRM and sales automation tools.
• Manage territory activities, priorities, and personal performance goals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an SDR or BDR.
• Experience in a growth-stage startup or cybersecurity company is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative problem-solving ability and strong self-motivation.
• Ability to prioritize and manage unstructured time effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce, and sales automation tools.
