What you will do

• Supervise and train modernization field employees, managing performance and hiring.
• Administer company safety programs and perform regular safety audits.
• Plan and prioritize elevator modernization projects using project management software.
• Manage jobsites from initial survey to completion, including troubleshooting and quality audits.
• Maintain strong working relationships with owners, architects, and elevator consultants.
• Coordinate material orders and subcontractor schedules for turn-key projects.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of the construction industry and general management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience managing at a branch departmental level.
• Ability to write technical reports, contract proposals, and business correspondence.
• Ability to interpret complex technical instructions and diagrams.
• Must be based in or able to work in the Chicago, IL area.
