Engineering Manager - InPost Pay (m/f/n)

Location: Kraków/Warszawa, Poland; flexible working model with remote options in Poland

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineers while building a collaborative, high-performance team.
• Own planning and execution of the InPost Pay product roadmap and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture, coding standards, security practices, and engineering excellence.
• Partner with product stakeholders to align priorities and maintain clear cross-functional communication.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, scalability, and system performance.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience and 2+ years of project or delivery management experience.
• Very good English at B2+ level is required.
• Strong technical background in Java, system design, modern engineering practices, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with GCP and AWS, including cloud migration.
• Experience building teams, leading change, taking end-to-end product ownership, and communicating effectively.
• Ability to use and critically evaluate AI tools and large language models responsibly.

Nice to have

• Cloud certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD.
• Exposure to security, compliance, or enterprise environments.
