Technical Consultant (Auth0): Providing hands-on implementation and deployment services for identity and access management solutions with an accent on OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML protocols. Location: Must be based in the United States (specifically hiring in WA, MA, IL, CA, NY, TX). 25% travel required.

Salary: $126,000 – $194,700 USD (OTE range depending on location and experience).

What you will do

• Lead hands-on implementation and deployment of Auth0 solutions for diverse enterprise customers.
• Gather, analyze, and document technical requirements for post-sales projects.
• Design and configure identity federation and access control models including SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and status while acting as a liaison between customers and internal product teams.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and support up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
• Continuously improve delivery processes and mentor team members on best practices.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a technical consultant delivering solutions to external customers.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with JavaScript and major MVC frameworks (React, Angular, Node, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of identity protocols: OAuth, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and WS-Federation.
• Experience designing security and identity management solutions for critical enterprise systems.
• Must be based in the United States with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with non-JavaScript development (Java, .Net, Go, C#, PHP).
• Prior experience delivering Auth0-specific implementations.
• Mobile development experience (iOS/Android).
• Deep knowledge of the Node.js runtime environment.
