TL;DR

Director of Business Development (Foodservice): Leading strategic sales efforts and driving growth for cutting-edge foodservice research platforms with an accent on Ignite platform demonstrations and senior executive engagement. Location: Must be based in Chicago, IL (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $90,000–$120,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct compelling live demonstrations of the Ignite platform for prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers in the foodservice industry.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Chicago, IL and able to work in-office at least 3 days per week.
  • Extensive experience in foodservice research platform sales or related industries.
  • Proven success in B2B sales of subscription-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of foodservice and food retail sector trends.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional ability to engage with senior executives and negotiate complex deals.
