TL;DR

Key Accounts Manager (Semiconductors/Telecommunications): Driving net-new business and renewals within a set territory of technology accounts with an accent on consultative sales of research, consulting, and marketing services. Focus on building long-term relationships with senior executives, orchestrating account penetration strategies, and achieving revenue targets through deep market understanding.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Newton, MA or New York, NY office (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 + commission

What you will do

  • Manage and grow a territory of 10-15 key accounts with existing renewal business.
  • Sell the full OMDIA product suite, including subscriptions, consulting, events, and marketing services.
  • Develop and execute account penetration strategies to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Achieve revenue targets and maintain accurate forecasting and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with analyst and consulting teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Proactively respond to inbound inquiries and generate self-sourced leads.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the semiconductors or telecommunications industry within a consultative B2B environment.
  • Proven track record as a top-performing individual contributor in solutions-based sales.
  • Established network of clients in relevant sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive new business and maximize product potential.
  • Must be able to work from the Newton, MA or New York, NY office at least three days per week.
