What you will do
- Execute sales and market access plans to drive revenue at targeted transplant centers.
- Engage with key stakeholders including physicians, transplant coordinators, and hospital finance teams.
- Lead the onboarding of new accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for commercial contracting.
- Educate hospital staff on reimbursement pathways, billing considerations, and payer processes.
- Partner with internal teams to resolve access challenges and escalate site-level barriers.
- Gather field insights on payer policies and hospital dynamics to refine commercial strategy.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in sales, market access, reimbursement, or payer engagement.
- Proven experience and relationships in stem cell transplant, cell therapy, or gene therapy.
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement in hospital or specialty care settings.
- Experience working with academic medical centers or complex hospital systems.
- Ability to operate independently in the field and manage a regional territory.
- Willingness to travel regularly (up to 80%) within the assigned Central/Southeast US territory.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with hospital reimbursement concepts like inpatient billing, DRGs, and case-rate discussions.
- Experience supporting the launch or early commercialization of complex therapies.
- Cross-functional experience with Medical Affairs, Commercial, and HEOR teams.
