Salary: $179,000 – $210,000 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into scalable data solutions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines from HR systems like Workday and Greenhouse.
• Develop production-grade data foundations to support AI initiatives and LLM-powered tools.
• Design and deliver data products, including dashboards and reporting tools using Streamlit.
• Optimize queries across distributed query engines and relational databases.
• Ensure sensitive employee data is handled with appropriate governance and access controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Engineer.
• Must be based in a US state where hirify.global has a registered entity.
• Highly proficient in SQL (Trino/Presto/Hive and Postgres).
• Fluent in Python with experience interacting with various data sources.
• Experience with scalable data pipelines using Airflow or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data governance, sensitivity classification, and access controls.

Nice to have

• Experience building data layers for LLM-based tooling or agentic AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with system design principles for data platforms.
• Experience with Ubuntu environments and AWS instance management via SSH.
