What you will do

• Own the venture’s evidence layer and establish repeatable data science practices.
• Define experimental methods, statistical standards, and analytical processes.
• Build instrumentation, data pipelines, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure from scratch.
• Analyze product signals and client outcomes to identify durable sources of product value.
• Design cohort and funnel experiments to validate hypotheses and guide direction.
• Partner with Product, GTM, Behavioral Science, engineering, and leadership to shape strategy and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of substantial staff-level data science experience in product environments.
• Demonstrated experience building and owning product analytics, instrumentation, pipelines, and dashboards end to end.
• Deep expertise in statistically rigorous product experimentation and communicating methodology to non-quantitative audiences.
• Ability to operate as the sole data science subject matter expert and make independent technical decisions.
• Graduate degree or equivalent applied experience in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Econometrics, Quantitative Psychology, or a related quantitative field.
• Must be able to work from the United States; employment eligibility is verified through E-Verify.
