What you will do

• Act as the primary finance owner for assigned European entities, ensuring end-to-end financial accountability.
• Lead the month-end close process, including review of journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory and tax compliance, including corporate income tax and regulatory filings.
• Drive transformation initiatives, focusing on process automation and scalability of finance operations.
• Manage and mentor a small team of 1–2 FTEs while coordinating with Tax, Legal, and FP&A departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOX and maintain strong internal control frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent strongly preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 background and industry experience.
• Strong expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven track record in managing legal entities, audits, and tax compliance.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite or similar platforms.
• Must be authorized to work in the Netherlands.
