What you will do

• Assess patient condition and reports/records changes, notify physician/supervisor, intervene appropriately, and document care.
• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, evaluate, and implement individualized patient plans of care.
• Delegate/assign tasks based on patient needs and RN/LPN/support staff skill level; perform charge-role duties including assigning duties and lunches.
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care and promote patient safety initiatives and department quality initiatives.
• Provide verbal and written feedback to peers, share knowledge/skills, and support continuous learning and peer review.
• Work rotating shifts with 24/7 coverage and manage time to complete assigned responsibilities within the work shift.

Requirements

• Current State of PA RN licensure or current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification (American Heart Association).
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate, and Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Certification in area of specialty.
• 2 years minimum of acute inpatient experience within the last year.
• 1 year of travel nursing experience.
