TL;DR

Director, Ad Sales Account Management: Leading the account management function and driving growth across programmatic, streaming, and linear advertising executions with an accent on client retention, team development, and operational efficiency. Focus on scaling high-performing teams, optimizing service delivery, and fostering strategic relationships with agency holding companies.

Location: Must be based in New York, NY. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of four days per week in the office.

Salary: $180,000 - $225,000 yearly

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor a team of 15+ account managers to drive incremental revenue and client retention.
  • Oversee onboarding, training, and performance management to ensure team success and career growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on product vision and business outcomes.
  • Serve as an escalation point for key clients and vendors to maintain strong, long-term relationships.
  • Implement reporting deliverables to monitor and improve campaign performance across linear and digital channels.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of client service management experience in premium media and advertising.
  • 5+ years of people management experience with a focus on leadership and mentoring.
  • Expert understanding of linear and digital media, including programmatic and streaming diagnostics.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Advertising, or Business.
  • Must be able to work in the New York office at least four days per week.
  • Willingness to travel and work overtime or weekends as needed.
