Compensation: $142,086 – $271,176 (varies by state).

What you will do

• Lead multi-discipline production teams to deliver complex substation and switchyard projects.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across the full project lifecycle.
• Conduct research and provide technical leadership for equipment and material recommendations.
• Coordinate client interactions, manage project changes, and support business development pursuits.
• Review engineering work and oversee hiring, discipline, and pay administration for subordinates.
• Ensure compliance with design principles, guides, and industry standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience managing EPC or design services for substation projects for investor-owned utilities.
• Strong understanding of layout design, relay protection, and civil/structural design.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screenings.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License.
• Working knowledge of procurement processes and contract administration.
• Experience with proposal development and engineering estimates.
