Senior Commercial Advisory Consultant (Rail & Transit)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from New York, Toronto, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Boston, or Washington D.C. (Hybrid)

Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 per year plus benefits

What you will do

• Lead complex rail and transit projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Grow the Commercial Advisory portfolio by identifying new opportunities and promoting services to clients.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Provide technical leadership in O&M cost modelling, business planning, and P3 advisory.
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Support business development through proposal writing, presentations, and negotiations.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the transportation industry with a focus on rail and transit commercial delivery.
• Strong technical background in business case development, procurement support, or financing strategies.
• Proven success in business development and managing complex client-facing projects.
• Ability to work directly with senior decision-makers and industry stakeholders.
• Experience in a consultancy environment is preferred.
