What you will do

• Own the commercial release strategy for NetBox Core, ensuring seamless delivery across internal product teams.
• Manage the open source community presence, including GitHub issue triage and contributor engagement.
• Drive the roadmap for data model evolution and API surface design, balancing extensibility with backward compatibility.
• Translate enterprise customer requirements into shippable product features from strategy through to general availability.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define platform capabilities and contribute to pricing and packaging strategies.
• Act as the connective tissue between Core Engineering, Customer Success, and downstream product teams.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of product management experience in B2B software.
• 3+ years of experience owning infrastructure or deeply technical developer tools.
• Proven track record of driving cultural or process change within engineering organizations.
• Strong technical depth with the ability to read code, review pull requests, and engage in architectural discussions.
• Deep understanding of API design, including REST, GraphQL, versioning, and schema-based systems thinking.
• Demonstrated experience managing open source products or communities at scale.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience as a network, DevOps, or software engineer.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure concepts, IP management, or circuit management.
