TL;DR

Sr. Director, Data Product & Strategy (Customer Data & Activation): Lead the enterprise-wide Customer Data and Activation Platform strategy, owning the lifecycle of first-party customer data across governance, data quality, audience segmentation, monetization, and activation with an accent on CDP/Media/Measurement platform roadmaps and cross-functional execution. Focus on defining long-term audience data product vision, driving organization-wide adoption of data-driven marketing, and delivering maximum ROI through a portfolio of high-impact use cases.

Location: Hybrid (New York, NY) — minimum 3 office days/week; from January 5, 2026 minimum 4 office days/week

Salary: USD 195,000 - USD 235,000 (yearly)

What you will do

  • Define and execute the Customer Data Ecosystem and marketing platforms data vision aligned to organizational goals and competitive trends.
  • Own data governance for first-party customer data, including core data standards and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
  • Manage the marketing data ecosystem roadmap (CDP, Media, Measurement), including data ingestion and ETL/ELT enhancements and feature rollouts.
  • Lead cross-functional prioritization and delivery pipeline execution with engineering teams to ensure timely delivery and resource alignment (e.g., JIRA).
  • Set global audience segmentation strategies and identify opportunities for data monetization using first-party data assets.
  • Drive change management and adoption of data-driven marketing practices, including executive communication and team leadership.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, marketing technology, or data product management, including strategic leadership experience.
  • Strategic experience overseeing major Customer Data, Media, and Measurement platforms (e.g., CDP such as Segment/Tealium, DSPs, DMPs, web analytics, ad servers) and their integrations.
  • Strong data literacy: data analysis techniques, data modeling, data visualization, and data quality.
  • Proficiency with analytical tools such as SQL and BI tools to guide technical decisions.
  • Proven success in vision casting, executing complex data strategies, managing a portfolio of projects, and driving organization-wide adoption.
  • Hybrid role requires contributing from the office at least 3 days/week (and at least 4 days/week starting January 5, 2026).
