Contract Product Designer (AI)

Location: Remote in the United States. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Salary: $75–$100 per hour for a six-month contract.

What you will do

• Design consumer-facing product experiences supporting acquisition, conversion, retention, and other growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and design leadership to turn requirements into user-centered solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and production-ready specifications in Figma.
• Design and iterate on lifecycle email campaigns across responsive web, mobile, and email surfaces.
• Own scoped initiatives independently while incorporating feedback through design critiques and iteration.
• Use AI-powered tools to explore concepts, improve efficiency, and enhance design output.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX Design, or a similar role, supported by a portfolio showing product thinking and strong visual execution.
• Experience designing intuitive solutions for complex problems and growth-oriented acquisition, conversion, or engagement flows.
• Strong visual design skills across polished marketing creative and scalable product UI.
• Fluency in Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff, plus experience with responsive layouts and multiple surfaces.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering partners in fast-paced environments and working independently with minimal oversight.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience designing lifecycle or growth marketing emails and understanding engagement and click-through performance.
• Familiarity with email design constraints, design systems, 0→1 or fast-scaling products, UX writing, illustration, or visual storytelling.
