What you will do

• Own the design, implementation, and validation of media- and awareness-driven models used in forecasting.
• Translate marketing and promotion assumptions into quantified demand signals and forecast scenarios.
• Act as the technical authority on model structure, assumptions, and non-linear responses to ensure results are decision-grade.
• Review and ensure the quality and consistency of forecasting outputs across various regions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level analysts and data scientists.

Requirements

• Strong current proficiency in mathematics and statistics.
• Proficiency in Python, including modular code design using functions and classes.
• Experience building linear and non-linear response models using population and media consumption data.
• Familiarity with media data providers across EU and US markets (e.g., Kantar, Ipsos, GfK, Nielsen, Comscore).
• Experience managing one or more direct reports.
• Must be based in London, UK for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience in media mix modeling (MMM) or marketing effectiveness analysis.
• Understanding of Bayesian statistics and probabilistic modeling.
• Hands-on experience with scenario planning or simulation tools.
