What you will do

• Develop and build discrete numerical models of healthcare interventions to demonstrate real-world impact.
• Lead the technical and strategic direction of health economic modelling projects, ensuring scientific rigour.
• Oversee data sourcing, model protocols, and validation to maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster technical excellence and collaborative problem-solving.
• Provide consultative advice to clients on complex market access challenges.
• Contribute to research dissemination via publications and conference presentations.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Health Economics, or Computing.
• Deep expertise in algorithm development, statistical and stochastic processes, or linear algebra.
• Proven experience developing health economic models (e.g., budget impact, cost-effectiveness).
• Proficiency in programming (C/C++, R, or Python) and version control (Git/GitHub).
• Experience leading technical projects and mentoring teams.
• Must be based in or able to work in Cardiff or Bicester, UK (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with modelling within VBA/Excel.
• Specific expertise in Oncology or cardio-renal metabolic modelling.
