What you will do

• Develop and implement predictive models across all major sporting codes.
• Prototype, evaluate, and optimize algorithms to calculate probabilities of sporting outcomes.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary Agile squad of Software Engineers, QA Engineers, and Product Managers.
• Mentor team members, helping them develop their skills and deliver effectively.
• Drive alignment on complex domain requirements and uncover critical edge cases.

Requirements

• BSc, MSc, or PhD in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computational Statistics, Machine Learning, or other STEM subject.
• Expert understanding of probability and statistics fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages (R, Matlab, etc).
• Expertise in a broad range of ML algorithms, including Monte Carlo simulation, neural networks, logistic regression, and random forest.
• Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model based in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sports rules, strategies, and sports betting.
• Experience with MLOps covering the full life cycle (Gitlab, AWS, Docker).
• Proficiency in Rust, C++, or data engineering.
• Experience with real-time systems and/or high-performance computing.
