TL;DR
Guidewire Technical Lead (Guidewire Cloud): Leading the implementation and evolution of PolicyCenter and ClaimCenter Cloud platforms with an accent on technical governance, integration patterns, and platform stability. Focus on translating enterprise architecture into executable design patterns and mentoring development teams to raise platform maturity.
Location: Hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence in Canada (Toronto)
Salary: 110,000 - 160,000 CAD

What you will do
- Act as the technical authority for Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter Cloud and ClaimCenter Cloud).
- Provide hands-on leadership to resolve complex design, configuration, and integration challenges.
- Translate target-state architectures into executable Guidewire design patterns and implementation standards.
- Define and maintain technical standards, patterns, and best practices for internal teams and vendors.
- Own the technical roadmap for Guidewire capabilities, including cloud optimization and Jutro modules.
- Coach and mentor Guidewire developers to improve code quality and platform maturity.
Requirements
- Must be based in Canada and able to work hybrid (3 days/week in office).
- 10-15+ years of progressive IT experience delivering large-scale enterprise platforms.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter Cloud and/or ClaimCenter Cloud.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead or Platform Lead for Guidewire initiatives.
- Deep understanding of Guidewire configuration, extension frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Experience with cloud-native/SaaS delivery models and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have
- Experience with Jutro or Reinsurance modules.
- Prior experience in P&C Insurance (Commercial and Personal Lines).
- Guidewire certifications (ACE, Developer, or Integration).
- Experience with multi-vendor and offshore delivery models.
