Location: Ontario, Canada (Hybrid)

Salary: $75,000–$90,000

What you will do

  • Configure and maintain Workday Absence Management, including leave plans, eligibility rules, and notifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system incidents, performing root cause analysis to ensure operational stability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements for system enhancements and operational initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for releases and configuration changes.
  • Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improved efficiency, data quality, and compliance.
  • Create and maintain documentation and job aids to support user adoption and system consistency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday Absence Management.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting ticket resolution and day-to-day operational support.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • College diploma or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, IT, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting Workday Benefits and/or Payroll configuration.
  • Experience working in a multi-unionized environment.
  • Background in healthcare, insurance, or related industries.
  • Workday certification(s).
  • Experience with system implementations or acquisitions.
