Automation & Digital Business Development Manager

Location: Based in Utrecht, Netherlands, Paris, France, or Belgium; travel required up to 60% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive sales and profitability.
• Identify new customer segments, markets, and business opportunities for the Automation & Digital Solutions portfolio.
• Lead customer value analysis workshops and design tailored digital solutions.
• Advise customers on digital transformation and the business value of smart manufacturing.
• Drive bidding activities, quotations, and contract formulation with pre-project teams.
• Build strategic partnerships with consultancies, OEMs, system integrators, and technology providers while representing hirify.global at industry events.

Requirements

• University degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, IT/computer science, electronics, mechatronics, robotics, or automation.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships within automation, digital solutions, or industrial robotics.
• Proven experience opening new accounts and closing complex deals.
• Strong analytical, consultative, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across cross-functional and multicultural teams in global markets.
• Fluency in English and Dutch is required.
