Senior Android Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain Android features for the core payment experience.
• Deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient mobile solutions for critical user journeys.
• Improve app performance, reliability, observability, and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into technical solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building Android applications in production.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and modern Android development.
• Experience building maintainable mobile architectures and shipping features at scale.
• Strong understanding of performance, testing, debugging, and release best practices.
• Experience integrating with backend services and handling complex client-server interactions.
• Experience working in payments, fintech, or other high-trust product areas.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Android architecture components, Coroutines, and Jetpack.
• Experience with experimentation, instrumentation, and data-informed product development.
• Knowledge of secure coding and mobile application security practices.
