Senior Android Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Berlin, Germany; office-based work in Munich or Berlin. International relocation support is provided if required.

What you will do

• Design and implement Android user interfaces that make complex investing concepts accessible.
• Build visually rich user experiences and custom UI components.
• Write clean, testable, secure, and well-documented code.
• Experiment with new technologies and adapt to changes in the Android framework.
• Own the full application lifecycle from ideation through delivery to the Play Store.
• Collaborate with software engineers, academics, product specialists, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Relevant university degree or comparable qualification.
• Experience or interest in Kotlin, RxJava, Coroutines, Compose, Dagger, and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong analytical thinking across technical and product domains.
• Passion for delivering excellent user experience and working with custom UI.
• Excellent communication skills with engineering, product, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the Munich or Berlin offices; international relocation support is available if required.

Nice to have

• Prior fintech experience.
