What you will do

• Manage depot transport staff to execute traffic plans and meet service level agreements.
• Ensure fleet availability and coordinate with the planning team for resource allocation.
• Motivate and develop the team through training, engagement, and personal development plans.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant transport statutes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, including MOTs, service intervals, and fuel budget management.
• Collaborate with 3rd party hauliers and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work in Dagenham, UK.
• Proven supervisory experience within an FMCG transport environment.
• Strong commercial knowledge of transport operations and shared user environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• High level of numeracy and proficiency in planning and organizing.
• National and International CPC qualification is desirable.
