What you will do

• Maintain real-time visibility of resource availability and utilization across all business units and practices.
• Build and manage a skills inventory database capturing capabilities, certifications, and goals for technical and PM staff.
• Partner with delivery leads to forecast resource demand 4–12 weeks in advance.
• Champion an "internal first" staffing philosophy to maximize internal talent mobility before external hiring.
• Manage relationships with staffing vendors and contingent workforce partners when internal capacity is insufficient.
• Develop utilization dashboards and reporting to provide leadership visibility into headcount and budget cycles.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in resource management or delivery operations, preferably within an MSP or consulting environment.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience managing technical resources across cloud, infrastructure, software, and project management functions.
• Data-driven mindset with proven experience building utilization reports and capacity forecasts.
• Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to navigate competing priorities across teams.
• Ability to handle sensitive workforce conversations with discretion and empathy.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud technology skill sets such as Azure, AWS, and DevOps.
• PMI, PMP, or ITIL certification.
• Proficiency with PSA tools like Kantata, Planview, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Experience with skills management platforms such as Workday Skills Cloud or LinkedIn Talent Insights.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
