Senior Product Designer (AI)

Location: Fully remote; applicants must be based in the United States or Canada

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 per year, with potential additional bonus or commission

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end product design across MapMy's iOS, Android, and web experiences.
• Define an AI-accelerated design practice using tools such as Claude, Cursor, and v0 for ideation, prototyping, and iteration.
• Build interactive prototypes and validate concepts with users and stakeholders.
• Own the MapMy design system and component library while setting visual, interaction, motion, and accessibility standards.
• Lead user research, including interviews, usability testing, competitive analysis, and post-launch evaluation using A/B results, funnel data, and qualitative feedback.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Data leadership, mentor designers, and lead design reviews.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience shipping consumer-facing mobile or web products, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design leadership.
• Expert Figma proficiency and fluent daily use of AI tools in the design workflow.
• Deep understanding of iOS, Android, and responsive web design principles.
• Experience collaborating with senior Product, Engineering, and Data leaders in an agile environment and mentoring designers.
• Strong communication skills for explaining design rationale and tradeoffs to executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Ability to build functional prototypes with AI code-generation tools independently.

Nice to have

• Experience in fitness, health, GPS, or mapping.
• Familiarity with motion design tools, HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
• Experience with advanced research methods and data-informed design practices.
