What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design for MapMy's mobile (iOS/Android) and web experiences, owning high-leverage surfaces from framing to delivery.
• Define and evolve an AI-accelerated design practice using tools like Claude, Cursor, and v0 for ideation and iteration.
• Build functional, interactive prototypes to quickly validate concepts with real users and stakeholders.
• Manage the MapMy design system and component library to ensure consistency and quality across the product suite.
• Direct the research agenda, including interviews, usability tests, and competitive analysis.
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers and lead design reviews to raise the overall craft bar.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience shipping consumer-facing mobile or web products with a strong portfolio.
• Expert proficiency in Figma and fluent, daily use of AI tools in the design workflow.
• Deep understanding of iOS, Android, and responsive web design principles.
• Proven track record of collaborating with senior Product, Engineering, and Data leadership in agile environments.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Background in fitness, health, or GPS/mapping industries.
• Familiarity with motion design tools and working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS.
• Experience with advanced research methods and data-informed design practices.
