Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Manage quality and technical process performance for selected suppliers and their n-tier suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality incidents and drive structural improvements in performance.
• Lead supplier development initiatives involving SPC, lean manufacturing, FMEA, and operational excellence.
• Optimize supplier manufacturing, testing, and qualification processes to improve quality and yield.
• Analyze quality issues, resolve technical problems, and support material availability escalations and hardware changes.
• Collaborate with supplier, logistics, procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams; limited travel may be required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in optics, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
• 10–20 years of relevant experience in a similar supplier quality or technical performance role.
• Experience with production supply chain processes, Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, and improvement projects.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and understanding manufacturing technology.
• Experience in optics and/or ceramics manufacturing.
• Fluent English and Korean required.

Nice to have

• Experience in supply chain logistics management.
• Experience managing delivery performance, mitigating material availability risks, and improving end-to-end supply reliability across supplier networks.
