Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Manage quality and technical process performance for suppliers and their n-tier suppliers.
• Monitor and drive supplier quality performance and improvements.
• Contribute to supplier development through SPC, lean, FMEA, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Optimize manufacturing processes and support hardware changes at suppliers.
• Drive yield and process improvements and participate in improvement projects.
• Analyze quality issues and implement technical solutions during material availability escalations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in South Korea
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in optics, mechanical or industrial engineering.
• 10–20 years of relevant experience in supplier quality or supply chain roles.
• Experience with supply chain processes such as Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
• Fluent in English and Korean
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology as per US Export Administration Regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in optics and/or ceramics manufacturing.
• Experience in supply chain logistics management and delivery performance improvement.
