Senior Field Product Readiness Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Pyeongtaek-Mokok, South Korea. On-site field role with regional or cross-regional travel required approximately 50% of the time. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Lead service product readiness validation for complex products, new modules, and multi-site readiness streams across semiconductor equipment product lines.
• Close cross-functional readiness gaps involving documentation, tooling, preventive and corrective maintenance, training, spare strategy, and AIx readiness.
• Coordinate first installs, beta deployments, NPI, HVM, knowledge transfer, and resolution of field blockers.
• Validate and improve installation, maintenance, tooling, and service procedures using field evidence and equipment data.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog management, KPI tracking, risk-to-resolution activities, and readiness reviews.
• Act as the technical liaison among field teams, SBU, BU, GPS, and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Etch, Metal Deposition Products, or Dielectric Deposition Products.
• Expertise in product readiness, serviceability, product introduction, equipment systems, and fab operations.
• Experience solving complex product and service issues using multiple data sources, field evidence, and customer or site context.
• Project management experience with sprint execution, backlog management, SOW definition, KPI tracking, reporting, and risk closure.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, materials, chemical, industrial, automation engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with agile or sprint delivery, Jira, and SOW development.
• Experience with AIx tools, predictive maintenance, process optimization, product application engineering, or fab-side digital products.
• Exposure to readiness governance, FMECA updates, control plans, and escalation structures.
