Commercial Product Engineer (Semiconductor Materials)

What you will do

• Support technical assessments and qualification activities for product, process, raw material, supplier, packaging, and equipment changes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Analytical, and Development Engineering teams to investigate product and process issues and conduct root cause investigations.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, yield, process robustness, capacity, cycle time, and quality.
• Support technology transfers, commercialization activities, manufacturing readiness criteria, and transition plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with Development Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing, Sales, and other global technical organizations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in electronic materials and semiconductor manufacturing, specialty chemicals, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes, product quality improvement, or process optimization.
• Knowledge of quality systems, change management, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Effective written and verbal communication in both Korean and English is required.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with semiconductor plating technologies.
• Background in semiconductor materials and processes, synthetic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or process engineering.
