Electrical Engineer IV (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Tokyo, Japan or Pyeongtaek-Mokok, South Korea; travel required 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Evaluate technical requirements for electrical and RF process power products and recommend qualified materials and suppliers.
• Work with new product development teams to clarify engineering drawing requirements and communicate expectations to suppliers.
• Support new product introduction by involving suppliers in specification development and design-for-manufacturability reviews.
• Develop a competitive supplier base focused on quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
• Lead supplier technical audits, performance evaluations, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead supplier quality problem resolution, incident management, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Deep or broad expertise in semiconductor equipment process power and electrical systems products.
• Ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices for products, processes, or services.
• Experience leading others through complex problems using analytical judgment and innovative solutions.
• Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate technical decisions with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
