What you will do

• Launch and grow pop culture programming in Chicago by producing, promoting, and selling tickets using local marketing tactics.
• Conceptualize events inspired by global cultural touchpoints, including film premieres, award shows, album drops, and viral memes.
• Identify and engage niche fandoms and subcultures to develop timely and relevant ticketed experiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with performers, venues, creative partners, and local community connectors.
• Manage the entire event lifecycle, from atmosphere and guest hospitality to tracking financial profitability.
• Collaborate with the Global Communities team and other local Producers to align on event cadence and cross-promotion.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in event production, experiential marketing, community building, or partnerships.
• Deep fluency in global and national pop culture, including internet micro-communities and viral trends.
• Ability to evaluate the commercial potential of cultural moments to ensure ticket sales.
• Proven track record of producing themed nights, singalongs, screenings, or fan-driven activations.
• Strong organizational skills and clear communication for managing multiple timelines and ideas.
• Must be based in Chicago, IL for on-site execution.
