• Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team, providing mentorship and career development.
• Own the delivery and execution of the Email Security roadmap, ensuring high velocity and reliability.
• Drive architectural decisions for complex, high-throughput distributed systems and platforms.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product and Security teams to align technical strategy with customer needs.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, overseeing oncall rotations and incident response.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an IC in distributed systems or backend infrastructure.
• Proven track record of transitioning into successful engineering management.
• Experience managing teams in high-scale, high-growth environments.
• Strong product sense and the ability to translate technical constraints into product tradeoffs.
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional partners.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (contextualized by CA privacy notice and US office).
