What you will do

• Lead and grow a team of software engineers focusing on both customer-facing features and underlying cloud infrastructure.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and post-launch support.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development tools and establish team norms around agentic coding workflows.
• Collaborate with Product Management to shape roadmap priorities and translate them into well-scoped engineering plans.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical problem-solving.
• Conduct performance reviews, 1:1s, and lead hiring efforts to strengthen the engineering team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• 3+ years of engineering management experience in cloud infrastructure, SaaS, or platform engineering.
• Proven expertise in managing distributed, remote-first engineering teams across different time zones.
• Strong software engineering background with deep expertise in system architecture.
• Solid command of the full SDLC, including testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ability to clearly communicate risks and trade-offs to leadership and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with AI agentic coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• Experience with cloud storage platforms, distributed systems, or developer-facing APIs.
