TL;DR

Startup Partnerships Lead (AI): Driving adoption of AI capabilities within the startup ecosystem by forging and managing high-impact strategic partnerships with an accent on accelerator networks and entrepreneurial communities. Focus on designing cross-functional go-to-market programs and scaling the reach of Claude models through strategic alliances.

Location: Hybrid (San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY). Staff are expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time.

Salary: $215,000 - $300,000 USD (OTE)

What you will do

  • Develop and lead the startup partnerships strategy to drive adoption of AI technology.
  • Build and manage relationships with key accelerators and entrepreneurial communities.
  • Create startup-focused offerings, programs, and growth initiatives.
  • Execute events, campaigns, and promotions to increase awareness and adoption of Claude.
  • Collaborate with product teams to represent startup community needs in the product roadmap.
  • Track and report key metrics to measure the ROI of startup initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience sourcing and managing partnerships or business development relationships in the technology industry.
  • Working knowledge of venture firms, accelerators, and founder communities.
  • Proven track record of executing complex, cross-functional GTM programs end-to-end.
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and business audiences.
  • Must be based in or be able to work from San Francisco or New York City (Hybrid).

Nice to have

  • Deep understanding of the AI/ML landscape and experience positioning LLM or API-based products.
  • Experience with cloud provider startup programs (e.g., AWS Activate, Google for Startups) or co-sell motions.
  • Experience enabling sales teams and delivering technical product training.
  • Background working directly with early-stage startups and founders.
