What you will do

  • Process invoices using AS400 and QAD ERP systems ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify invoice authorization and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Champion the use of AP automation tools to streamline processing and reduce manual entry.
  • Oversee weekly electronic payment runs and regularly reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Monitor and process payments for utilities and rents for Canada and the USA.
  • Support month-end activities by preparing and analyzing AP reports for decision-making.

Requirements

  • Major in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • English: B2 minimum.
  • Spanish: Fluent.
  • Consistent productivity level of processing at least 500 invoices correctly per week.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with AP automation tools and portals like Coupa or Ariba.
  • Ability to use data analytics tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices regarding data security and privacy.
