Director of Business Development (Affiliate Marketing): Finding and closing new clients for affiliate, influencer, and performance PR practices with an accent on integrated performance layers and ROI. Location: Fully onsite in Denver, Colorado (LoDo/Union Station office). Remote or hybrid options are not available.
Salary: $100,000–$125,000 base + variable; OTE $140,000–$190,000

What you will do
- Prospect and close new clients within core e-commerce verticals, including apparel, health & beauty, and sports & outdoors.
- Build and manage a sales pipeline through warm outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Sell integrated affiliate, influencer, and performance PR programs with a strong emphasis on attribution and ROI.
- Conduct discovery calls and present tailored proposals that translate client goals into integrated strategies.
- Collaborate with internal channel leads on scope, pricing, and RFP responses.
- Represent the company at key industry conferences and leverage existing relationships to expand the affiliate community footprint.
Requirements
- 5+ years of business development or sales experience in a digital marketing agency setting.
- Proven track record of closing net-new business against targets, specifically selling to CMOs and VPs of Marketing.
- Strong expertise in affiliate networks and platforms such as Impact, Rakuten, Partnerize, AWIN, and CJ.
- Knowledge of influencer-affiliate platforms (ShopMy, LTK) and social commerce (TikTok Shop).
- Must be based in Denver, CO for daily presence at the office.
- Willingness to travel 30-50% for industry events and client meetings.
