TL;DR

Strategy & Operations Lead, Marketing (AI): Scaling the operational foundation of the marketing organization across brand, enterprise, and performance channels with an accent on annual planning, budgeting, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on translating ambiguous high-level strategies into concrete actionable plans and designing scalable operating rhythms for a fast-growing team.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY (minimum 25% office presence)

Salary: $320,000 - $400,000 USD

What you will do

  • Drive annual and quarterly planning to turn company strategy into clear plans with defined owners, timelines, and budgets.
  • Project-manage high-stakes, high-visibility initiatives and quarterback complex cross-organizational special projects.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership on budget planning, forecasting, and headcount management.
  • Establish and refine the marketing operating rhythm, including prioritization, tracking, and reporting of results.
  • Develop analytics and reporting frameworks to measure marketing performance and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Remove operational friction to enable marketing teams to move faster and focus on core tasks.

Requirements

  • Experience in marketing operations, strategy, or business operations within high-growth B2B tech or strong consumer brands.
  • Proven track record of steering high-visibility projects and aligning senior leadership.
  • Ability to convert ambiguous, theoretical strategies into actionable execution plans.
  • Deep experience building and scaling operating processes from scratch in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, specifically in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco or New York City.

Nice to have

  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, strategy, or business operations.
  • Familiarity with marketing measurement and attribution methods.
  • Experience across multiple disciplines, such as brand, performance, enterprise, and product marketing.
  • Experience scaling operations through periods of rapid company growth.
